Coleman used to make decent mattress. The first one I bought lasted me about three years of frequent use. However, in the last two years I have had no fewer than eight of these blankets go bad in less than a month. One of these lasted exactly three days. The only reason for them is due to the generous return policy of some merchants, and the personal satisfaction I get from companies like Coleman to take a loss on the poor performance of a product that Should not in the market in the first place ..
I decided that the problem is the poor quality of the seal around the area of inflation. I have no doubt reduce the amount of sealant applied to save a few cents per unit. You can fix it with a pile of duct tape, but it means you must remove the duct tape to re-inflate the mattress 1-2 times a week, and patch the hole with duct tape anymore. You should not have it.
Note to Coleman: You have your Chinas factories use about 2 cents more per unit area of epoxy around the gas generator, and so will cut down on your return, and probably the loss of customers to reduce by dissatisfied customers switch brands.
